We were commissioned to design a series of passenger lounge concepts in Moscow, with the objective of accommodating the influx of travellers while celebrating the city's unique character. The challenge was to create a flexible planning concept that could be seamlessly adapted across various locations, ensuring a consistent and engaging experience for all passengers.

Our design approach centred on incorporating elements that reflect the essence of Moscow, creating a vibrant and culturally rich atmosphere. The lounges were infused with design features inspired by the city’s iconic architecture, art, and history, offering travellers a taste of Moscow's unique identity as they awaited their flights.

Key features of the Moscow business lounge included access to a diverse buffet offering a variety of local and international cuisine, comfortable furniture designed for relaxation, wide-screen TVs for entertainment, and complimentary Wi-Fi for connectivity. Families were catered to with dedicated children's playrooms and baby changing tables, ensuring convenience for travellers with young children.

The result was a series of dynamic and inviting lounges that not only provided functional spaces for travellers but also celebrated the spirit of Moscow, enhancing the airport experience with a blend of comfort, culture, and luxury.

This project was commissioned through JPA Design with Ju-Wei Chen as lead designer
